Scott's resumed playing out and is mixing the next album, using the
recordings made at Test Tube Audio last summer.

Scott moved to Nashville at the end of July, and is busy working a
new day job, and will be mixing a new album this fall. (The recordings
were made at Test Tube Audio in June with drummer Kevin Gathright,
bassist Mark Alexander and ueber-instrumentalist Greg Lowry.)
Nashville's great! Occasionally Scott will play open mics and
writers nights, but "touring" in earnest is on hold until he gets
"settled" and "stable" in the new town. (This could take a while. ;-) )

Scott is moving to Nashville! He's got a steady gig teaching
as a professor at a university where most of the students
study commericial music and music business! Teaching physics,
learning music, living in the songwriting capital of the country? Not bad...

Scott has been "indicted" into the Austin Conspiracy of Performing Songwriters! This is a
group of professional, gigging singer-songwriters who help each other
out and share gigs. Scott's friend and occasional mentor
Alton Rex nominated him for
membership!

"Going Pro": Booking is now being handled by the notoriously effervescent
(and talented) Corrie Box! And last
Saturday I had a lengthy phone conference with music-biz consultant(/counselor)
